What once started as a boyhood dream has grown into a large transport company. Lars and Niels Geelhoed knew from a young age that they wanted to become truck drivers. Lars started at the age of 15e in the garage and as soon as he turns 18e Having obtained his driver's license, he immediately got behind the wheel. Later, his brother followed suit.
When the company the brothers worked for went bankrupt in 2013, they saw their opportunity. Instead of working for someone else, they decided to start their own business. By taking over their trusted trucks, they took the first step towards Gebr. Geelhoed Transport.
Thanks to their commitment, flexibility and attention to quality, the company grew quickly. In 2015 they purchased their first own trucks. Today, Gebr. Geelhoed is a well-established name in tank transport for chemical, food, feed and gas products.

Just before Christmas 2023, large volumes of cargo suddenly had to be transported in Finland The Geelhoed team delivered the products on time. This meant that drivers had to work during the holidays, far from home and family. A difficult task, but thanks to the dedication, flexibility, and loyalty of the Geelhoed team, the job was accomplished. 🫶
