What once began as a boy's dream has grown into a large transportation company. Lars and Niels Geelhoed knew from a young age that they wanted to be truck drivers. Lars started at the age of 15e in the garage and as soon as he was 18e got his driver's license, he got behind the wheel immediately. Later, his brother followed suit.
In 2013, when the company where the brothers worked went bankrupt, they saw their opportunity. Instead of working for someone else, they decided to start for themselves. Taking over their trusted trucks, they took the first step toward Gebr. Geelhoed Transport.
Thanks to their commitment, flexibility and eye for quality, the company quickly grew. In 2015, they bought their first trucks of their own. Meanwhile, Gebr. Geelhoed is an established name in tank transport for chemical, food, feed and gas products.

Just before Christmas 2023, large volumes of cargo suddenly had to be delivered to Finland had to be delivered. This meant that drivers had to be on the road during the holidays, far away from home and family. A difficult task, but thanks to the commitment, flexibility and loyalty of the Geelhoed team, the job was completed. 🫶
